About the artist

Simon Villaeys is an Afro-French artist who has travelled around the globe, lived in many countries and seen much of the Earth and its people. After graduating in Fine Arts at the Beaux-Arts School of Paris, he needed time to resume his creative work. This maturation period was completed in 2019 when he moved to Lisbon, where he finally returned to his passion. With his wife, he has recently bought a small farm in the suburbs of Lisbon and is currently working on opening a studio where everything is sustainable.
